Industry Publication Profiles OrderFusion as B2B Platform In Touch With Suppliers

SAN DIEGO, Aug. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- OrderFusion, Inc., a pioneer in eCommerce software for supplier enablement, has been selected as one of Managing Automation's "25 Emerging Software Companies to Watch" in the July 2000 issue. OrderFusion's business-to-business (B2B) sell-side e-commerce platform, Orders of Magnitude, supports the entire selling process on the Web, from the presentation of product information, to sales, order management, support, and sales analysis.

Managing Automation Magazine evaluated several technologies in the B2B market from which 25 were chosen as up-and-coming technologies for suppliers. Out of the 25 chosen, only five were profiled, including OrderFusion. The five profiles typify the emerging generation of Web-based suppliers.

"There are dozens of new software vendors in all the markets Managing Automation covers," said Erin Callaway, executive editor of Managing Automation. "We created the Emerging Software Companies list for two reasons. The first was to let our readers know that there are compelling alternatives to incumbent solution providers. The second was to make them aware of companies like OrderFusion that specifically target the manufacturing industry."

About Orders of Magnitude

Orders of Magnitude supports the entire selling process on the Web, from the presentation of product information, to sales, order management, support, and sales analysis while keeping the Web channel in sync with other channels, such as field sales, call centers, dealers and distributors. Orders of Magnitude features nine modules built around an order-centric Unified Data Model that helps suppliers and buyers through the sales process by providing accurate and consistent information throughout. Orders of Magnitude complements other enterprise applications, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), and content management systems (CMS).

Orders of Magnitude manages all order management and fulfillment tracking, allowing suppliers and buyers alike to receive timely, accurate online updates. The platform also allows suppliers to create market segment or even customer-specific marketing campaigns for up-selling and cross-selling via the Web storefront, as well as analyze wins and losses to fine-tune their sales and marketing strategies. As part of OrderFusion's commitment to suppliers, OrderFusion guarantees customers can get to any new market (eProcurement system, trading community, portal, or eMarketplace) in 30 days or less and can bring any part of the sales process to the Web in 90 days or less.
