Beenz.com's former chairman,
president and CEO Philip Letts has re-emerged as CEO
of US B2B exchange internet Barter.
Letts (pictured) mysteriously
quit beenz in June (NMA 22 June), claiming his intention
was to concentrate on developing a European-based business.
He's expected to lead the
company's international expansion over the next year,
taking over from outgoing founding president and CEO
Mike Edelhart.
Edelhart was responsible
for the company's recent acquisition trail into Canada
and Mexico.
Announcing the appointment,
Edelhart said: "The recent international expansion
of the BarterTrust network requires expertise and familiarity
with global trade. Philip is extraordinarily well qualified."
internet Barter has headquarters
in San Francisco. The company maintains the international
B2B goods and services barter exchange called BarterTrust
Network. |
