WorldCom Alumnus Paul Lambert Joins iAsiaWorks Board; Brings Hosting and Operational Expertise to Pan-Asian internet Data Center Company

SAN MATEO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 27, 2000

iAsiaWorks (Nasdaq:IAWK), a leading provider of hosting services in the Asia-Pacific region, has named Paul H. Lambert to its board of directors.

Lambert has more than 27 years of experience in the telecommunications and hosting arenas. As vice president and general manager of hosting services at UUNET Technologies, an MCI WorldCom company, he doubled revenues and drove the rapid build-out of that company's data centers in North America. He also served as chief technology officer for WorldCom Advanced Networks, and before that as vice president for network technology at CompuServe Inc.

Lambert is a member of the board of Pinnacle Data Systems, Columbus, Ohio, and a consultant to the president of Columbus' CoreComm Communications. He serves on the technical advisory boards of LongBoard and Packeteer in Silicon Valley, and is a technical advisor to Reality Fusion in Santa Cruz, Calif.
