Barry Coffey Joins B2B
Electronic Components Marketplace and Services Provider
To Build HR Capabilities to Sustain Rapid Growth
PartMiner(R), Inc., an
online provider of content, technology and procurement
service to the electronic components industry, today
announced its hiring of Barry Coffey as senior vice
president and chief personnel officer to oversee the
management and performance of its over 525 employees
worldwide.
Mr. Coffey, until recently,
was a founder and managing partner of QED Consulting,
an international management consulting firm specializing
in strategy, human resources and process design to Fortune
500 companies as well as internet and technology start-ups.
Previously, he served at Sony Corporation as senior
vice president of business reengineering and human resources
responsible for leading operational and balance sheet
improvements along with implementing cultural change.
At PartMiner, Mr. Coffey will report directly to Dan
Nissanoff, CEO.

In addition, Mr. Coffey
