Reliacast, INc. and thePlatform
today announced that they have completed a merger of
the two companies. The merger brings together Reliacast's
technology offerings - including the most robust streaming
quality-of-service (QOS) and reporting technology available
- with thePlatform's industry-leading digital media
portal management and publishing software.

Both companies' technologies
will be combined into a single integrated offering to
provide a broad solution for creating and managing dedicated
digital media portals, as well as including audio and
video throughout existing websites and providing the
most comprehensive digital media reporting available.
A full complement of web-services application programming
interfaces (APIs) allows the entire solution to be easily
and cost-effectively integrated with the existing IT
infrastructure.
The merger also brings
together complementary management teams, and will maintain
offices in both the D.C. metropolitan area and Seattle,
WA. Mr. Singh will continue as President and CEO of
the merged company, which will retain both thePlatform
and Reliacast names while the compnay and product integration
is completed.
