InfoWorld
list chooses employment screening provider for BPM
rollout of background checks
[December, 29, 2006 - New
York, NY] Sterling Testing Systems, Inc., a
leading provider of employment screening services, is
pleased to be included in the InfoWorldŽ 100 Best IT
Projects of 2006. The award honors internet
initiatives that make use of innovative technology to
further organizational goals, and was announced November
in InfoWorld Magazine. Sterling was recognized for
its business management (BPM) rollout for handling
background checks.
"We are proud to
be acknowledged by InfoWorld for our efforts to
build streamlined and automated processes into our
service delivery platform," said Paul Mladineo,
Vice President of Strategic Development.
The initiative,
spearheaded by both Mladineo and Michael Richardson,
Sterling's Chief Technology Officer, was undertaken
to generate the highest levels of data quality,
delivery, and service availability for Sterling's
6,000 customers. Once fully completed, the
initiative is expected to decrease turnaround time
for Sterling's suite of services by 25-40%.
Richardson remarked,
"We are always looking for new and innovative
ways to better serve our client-base, and our BPM
system is just one aspect of what we are working on
to create the most efficient system in the
industry."
