Hertzmark to Focus on Healthcare Services

Generation Partners a $325 million private investment firm, has named Andrew Hertzmark a Partner of the firm.

“Andrew has made significant contributions to our firm and this reflects his growing leadership role at generation in our Healthcare Services area,” said Mark Jennings, Managing Partner of Generation partners. He added, “Andrew is a person of great character and ability and it is a real privilege to have him as a key part of the Generation team.”

Prior to joining Generation in 2004, Andrew was at Galen Associates, a private equity firm focused on growth equity investments in the healthcare industry. At Galen, Andrew focused his time primarily on healthcare services, information technology and medical devices areas.

Prior to Galen, Andrew worked in the Investment Banking Divisions of UBS and Dillon, Read & Co. where he worked on a variety of mergers, acquisitions and capital raising assignments for companies in the healthcare sector. Additionally, Andrew worked in the Business Development Group at Pfizer.

Andrew earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business. Andrew currently serves on the Boards of Virtual Radiologic Corporation and Post Education, Inc.
